November has been an exciting month for us. First off, Ben's sister, Rachel, got married on the 7th, and we got to be there for the wedding in Virginia. Arianna was the flower girl at the wedding, and was so cute! She was doing really well before she face planted into the grass; but, she's always good for a quick recovery, and was happy to make her way up the rest of the aisle in mom's arms. Here are a few pictures from that happy day.
The Fall season proved to be splendid here in St Louis. The changing colors on the trees was beautiful, and crisp days with sunny, blue skies reminded me of the weather in California - perfection! One evening Arianna and I were playing outside in the fallen leaves, and Daddy got home just in time to join us for some fun before dark. Here are some pictures and a video of our romp in the leaves. My favorite part of the video is when Arianna gets a leaf stuck to her hand, and tries to shake it off - a funny moment.
And just for fun, we took some pictures of Arianna eating spaghetti last night. She has been trying to feed herself lately with a spoon or fork, and here you can see her trying to use her fork, then going back to the tried and true 'finger' approach to eating.
Recently, she has also figured out how to suck water through a straw. She is very pleased with this new talent! She says, "Woohooo" when she's excited about something, and that's what she's doing in the second picture below.
Arianna and I are coming out to California soon (early December), and we hope to see lots of friends and family while we're in the neighborhood. Love you faithful readers!

What a beautiful little flower girl! Congrats to Ben's sister. I love the woohoo picture too, but I couldn't get the video to load. :( We're glad you guys are are having a great time out there. We miss you! The downstairs neighbors unexpectedly (to us, anyway) packed up and left last weekend, and the apartment is still vacant. Kind of weird...
Any word on Emporium yet? Love that game!
Oh, and I defended my thesis yesterday! Tell Arianna to say a big woohoo for me!

Arianna is SOOO cute... seriously :) I love the shots in the leaves! And she really was an adorable flower girl!

Ariana is getting so big!! AND this post was in NOVEMBER! Lets get an update here people! How are we supposed to keep up with the happenings over there?? Hope all is going well! Miss you!
